SuperUmzug is the moving brand of the sole proprietorship Martin Marcinko, based in Germering near Munich. The same business also trades as Entrümpelung München for clearance and household liquidation, and as BayReno for renovation. These are trading names, not three companies: one owner, one crew, one liability. Anyone needing two trades gets one contact and one contract — not a chain of subcontractors passing responsibility between them.

How long has SuperUmzug existed?

Since 2004. Over those twenty-odd years more than 1,000 moves have accumulated — mostly private moves inside Munich and out to the surrounding towns, plus company, medical-practice and law-firm moves. The largest company job covered roughly 700 linear metres of shelving, about 40 office workstations. These are not record numbers for the industry, and they are not meant to be: it is the scale at which a settled crew can work without subcontractors.

Why three names for one business?

Because the three trades speak to different customers, and nobody searches for a company that does everything. Someone moving looks for a moving company; someone clearing a flat looks for a clearance firm. Legally it is one sole proprietorship with one VAT number and one public liability policy. That clarity belongs here, because otherwise you only find it in the imprint — and because it explains why a combined job costs 20 to 35 % less than three separate ones.

Who turns up on moving day?

A settled crew, not rotating subcontractors. In this industry that is not a given: a substantial share of moving quotes in Munich are written by firms that then pass the job on. You speak to a salesperson and, on the day, work with people who have neither seen the quote nor the flat. With us you see the same faces that were at the survey.

Why do you publish your prices?

Because withholding prices is systematic in this industry and serves nobody but the seller. Someone who knows a range before calling can judge whether a quote is plausible. So we publish both price tables in full, surcharges and extras included, and say plainly that they are market orientation values and not an offer. The binding fixed price comes after the survey.

Why are the liability limits set out at such length?

Because they are what counts when there is damage, and almost nobody knows them beforehand. 620 euro per cubic metre of loading space under § 451e HGB, reporting deadlines under § 438 HGB, limited liability for self-packed boxes — those are the three points that decide who gets what after moving damage. A customer who knows this in advance makes different decisions while packing. That is exactly why we write it down.

Which languages do you advise in?

German, English, Slovak, Czech, Polish, Ukrainian and Croatian. That is not a marketing line but the language situation in the crew. For Munich, with its high share of international arrivals and a large Central and Eastern European community, it is the difference between a moving contract you understand and one you hope you have understood.

What do you expressly not do?

We do not transport pianos, grand pianos, safes, billiard tables or industrial machinery, and nothing that needs a crane or removal through a window or balcony. We do not offer overseas moves by container or air freight, and we do not run part loads. That list is on the home page rather than in the small print, because a declined job is better than an accepted one you have to hand on.

Common questions about the company

Are SuperUmzug, Entrümpelung München and BayReno three companies?

No, it is one sole proprietorship with three trading names — one owner, one VAT number, one public liability policy. That is why a combined job has only one contact, one schedule and one contract.

Do you work with subcontractors?

Not for the move itself — a settled crew comes. We only buy in what we deliberately do not keep: the furniture hoist against the facade and, depending on volume and duration, storage space with vetted partners. Both appear in the quote and are never a surprise.

Do you have your own vehicles?

Yes. That sounds obvious and is not: some providers hire vehicles by the day. Owning the fleet mainly means the equipment, straps and padding stay the same, and the condition of the vehicles does not depend on what is available at the end of the month.

How many moves do you do per year?

We do not quote an annual figure, because it fluctuates and easily becomes a marketing number. What holds up: more than 1,000 completed moves since 2004, mostly in the Munich city area and within roughly 50 kilometres.

Can I see references?

The project gallery on this site is still being built. We show only our own jobs there, never bought-in images — until enough released photographs exist, the section stays visibly empty rather than filled with stock material.

Are you a member of a trade association?

We advertise no association membership and no quality seal we do not hold. What we do have is in the imprint: VAT number, address and the public and professional liability insurance with LVN. The sum insured is available on request.
